Room 24, featuring two double beds, was pleasantly spacious, complete with a corner for armchairs and a table - ideal for evening discussions over our day's explorations. Despite the hotel's proximity to a major road, we found it remarkably quiet, thanks to good soundproofing and effective blackout curtains. The electric fireplace added a cozy touch on damp nights while keeping us warm. The owners welcomed us warmly, overcoming the language barrier with genuine smiles. This inclusive atmosphere made our stay truly enjoyable. As a history teacher from Shanghai, I appreciate spaces that honor their heritage.
